We are incredibly proud to announce the selection of Tayla Bosman, Adam Brown, Matthew Cox and Oliver Finlayson to the U17 Boys and Girls National Schools Water Polo Teams, which will represent South Africa at the 2026 EU Nations Cup Junior Men and Women, taking place in Brno, Czechia, in November 2026.
The teams were selected following a comprehensive and rigorous selection process, based on performances across various selection camps. This outstanding achievement is a testament to your talent, dedication and commitment, as well as the hard work you continue to invest in developing your game.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and look forward to watching you represent South Africa on the international stage. 🇿🇦🏊♂️🏊♀️

A Very Special Visit from Our Firefighting Heroes!
The Stage 3 children were so excited to welcome the Lakeside firefighters to school, arriving proudly dressed in their firefighter outfits! ❤️
They learnt all about how the fire trucks work and how the special uniforms and equipment help keep firefighters safe. The excitement grew as they had turns using the fire truck hose, tried on a real firefighter’s helmet and even got to explore inside the fire truck! 🚒
It was a very special morning, and the children were completely in awe of these incredible heroes who work so hard to keep us safe.

💛 ELS Art Exhibition 🎨🖼️
Last week, our ELS parents joined us for a special evening celebrating the creativity and ideas that fill our classrooms.
The following morning, each class had the chance to wander through the exhibition and see their artwork proudly displayed. There were lots of excited smiles and “That’s mine!” moments as they spotted their creations amongst the artwork.
It was so lovely to see the pride and excitement as their ideas were shared, celebrated and brought together in one special exhibition.
