Special mention goes to Samuel Els and Jethro Pietersen who knocked it out the park – Sam hitting his Level 2 time for 100m Butterfly and Jethro for 200m Freestyle!

With over 25 years of experience in personal training and swim coaching, Ray specializes in optimizing performance, injury prevention, and hybrid athlete development. His evidence-based approach is designed to help our swimmers move better, get stronger and perform at their peak.

Starting the season with a bang!💥 What an experience watching so many of our Level 1 swimmers take to the blocks for their very first gala. 🏊

It was brilliant to see so many PBs shattered and having our seniors cheering from the sidelines made the atmosphere truly electric. 🙌🏽

A huge shout-out to our incredible officials and those lending a helping hand on deck – we simply couldn’t do it without you. 🐬💙

Saturday at Generations was special 💙

Our Dolphins brought the energy to CTA QT #1: PBs across the board, SANJ qualifying times, and some seriously gutsy racing. Jamie Southey dropping nearly 6 seconds in the 100 fly. Emma de Smidt hitting SANJ qualification times. Joel smashing over 13 seconds off his 200 IM. Flora Vinkoor powering through to Level 2.

But honestly? The real moment was watching them meet Tatjana Smith and Chad le Clos. Heroes in the water, heroes in the stands – with their coach right by their side. That’s the kind of day that makes everything click.

From Cape Academy student to Junior Squad swimmer – Jihaad did it the right way. Consistent sessions, real progress, and the kind of attitude coaches notice. 💙
