It’s the final countdown!!! 7 days until the 2026 Festival of Unity in Cape Town, South Africa. Three sports, three venues and an unforgettable festival!

Representation matters.

On Friday afternoon, Haashim Pead returned to Connect training, not only to hand out 15 pairs of boots to our players, but to pour into the next generation by sharing his journey and experiences.

His message was powerful in its simplicity: where you start does not define where you can go, your commitment to the process does.

There is something special about young people seeing someone from a similar background reach the highest level. Suddenly, dreams feel closer, possibilities feel real, and belief begins to grow.

At Connect, creating these moments matters. We believe in giving the next generation opportunities to learn from those who have walked the path before them and shown what is possible.
