At Swimmers Delight, our dedicated specialties are "Learn to Swim" and "Baby Learn to Swim". We teach Absolute beginners can be any age, 7 months to the aged.
Our school has two dedicated specialties - teaching your babies and teaching absolute beginners to learn to swim. We are very good at taking absolute beginners to confident swimmers and teaching them how to love being in the water and learning to swim at the same time. We had our very first offsight graduation in December. Getting these photos from VIZI Photography ZAR and looking through the gallery, reminds me of how perfect the evening was. What are the benefits of learning to swim...
1. It can save a life: Learning to swim is a life saving life skill. It is the most important reason for learning to swim.
2. It is good exercise: Swimming is a skill which can help keep you fit for the rest of your life. It is low impact, provides a while body workout, is great for the cardiovascular system, has proven mental health benefits and helps improve sleep.
3. Builds confidence and resilience: For a child, being able to swim well is great for confidence. It could be as simple as doing well at the school swimming or taking part in any other water based activity. They will approach these things without apprehension, knowing “I’ve got this”.
4. IT'S FUN: For kids swimming is fabulous fun. With the right nurturing approach, even hesitant children learn to love and respect the water.
