Sometimes becoming your best self means letting go of old habits, old fears, and old versions of yourself.
Every setback taught you something.
Every mistake made you wiser.
Every scar tells a story of survival.
Don't rush your journey.
You're not falling behind.
You're becoming.
And that's something to be proud of.
One day, you'll look back and realize the messy chapters were the ones that shaped the strongest version of you. 🤍
Save this for the days you need to remember how far you've already come.

Strength looks quiet from the outside.

I think we often imagine courage as something loud and visible, but sometimes the bravest thing we can do is choose ourselves.
For some, that might mean setting boundaries. For others, it might simply mean getting out of bed, reconnecting with the things that bring joy, and deciding that today will look a little different than yesterday.
Healing rarely happens all at once. Little by little, we move forward, and eventually, we realize just how far we have come.

"One step at a time, my dear".
One of those lines that has stayed with many readers of Kringe in 'n Bos (Circles in a Forest). This short exchange between the main character and his partner captures a profound truth in so few words.
More than anything, it is a story about the human spirit. About searching for meaning, worth, and dignity amidst hardship. It speaks to the divisions that separate us, but also to the hope that connects us, and to the quiet resilience that allows us to keep moving forward, one step at a time.
Let this be a reminder: when the "mountain" before us feels too high to climb and impossible to overcome; when we find ourselves standing in the fog, unable to see a clear path ahead • The road has not disappeared •
♡One step at a time, my dear.
