Awesome Friday on the TokaiMTB trails ..up on level 5 admiring the Cape Sundews: Drosera trinervia)..our own native, insect devouring plants that appear August flower in January and then dissappear again for the rest of the year.

Little bit of rain higher up level 3 and it looked a rather chilly so I stayed on the lower trails ...some spring colors appearing🌻

Friday on the trails and nice to have Rene for company ,awesome weather out there today.

slow ride down along the jeeptrack collecting an assortment of discarded empty packets and bottles...mainly contractors and day hikers but saddly trail runners and mtbikers guilty..aswell. 🙁I couldn't squeeze any more waste into my little bag and the handles broke ..a discarded checkers packet saved the day .😁

First time Ive ever seen a camelion on the trails a first I thought it might be a bat...Stopping for a break always has its rewards 😁

Huge thankyou to Peddlars on the bend for their contribution to the TokaiMTB trail fund...A great place to stop along the Greenbelt trail in summer when the outside area is open for a cooldrink..off the bike and visiting the bar and restaurant I've spent some memorable evenings with great food and excellent service.

Awesome day out on the trails ,Rinkhals temporary closure as TokaiMTB team still busy with repairs.
