Throwback Thursday 🔥
In the build up of the next 50 days to go until the ICF Surfski World Championships in Spain, we are going to reflect on many of our club members, past and present, who have been World Champs over the years!
Starting off strong with the iconic Oscar Chalupsky
Before the ICF Surfski World Championships became the sport’s official world championship event, the legendary Molokaʻi 2 Oʻahu Paddleboard World Championships was widely regarded as the unofficial world championship of ocean paddling.
And no one dominated it quite like Oscar Chalupsky.
With an incredible 12 Molokaʻi victories, Oscar cemented his place as one of the greatest ocean paddlers and surfski athletes of all time. His achievements, passion and legacy have inspired generations of paddlers around the world.
12 wins. One of the toughest ocean races in the world. One unforgettable legacy. 👏🌊🏆
