The rail that falls for no reason. The horse that felt incredible yesterday and different today. The early mornings, the falls, the nerves before you're even on.

The good ones don't blame the horse when it goes wrong. They look at themselves, fix it, and go again tomorrow.

The course looks scary, your brain likes to focus on the negatives first, its just doing it's job. But here's what the winner knows: anxiety isn't the problem, what you tell yourself about the anxiety is.

Know your plan so well that when the nerves kick in, you've already got somewhere to put your focus. Trust yourself, trust your horse, trust the work.

We’re proud to be taking part in the Baker McVeigh Lower Grade Derby.

This is a wonderful opportunity for riders and horses to experience the excitement and challenge of Derby competition, build confidence, and enjoy a great day of showjumping.

We’re looking forward to competing alongside fellow riders and showcasing some great riding at Noordhoek Riding Club.
