New Life! Update from the garden project - Earth Human Connection! We are the sun, we are the soil, we are the water. It has been a mild winter and it’s given us ample opportunity to get in the garden and enjoy. We planted some citrus trees, peas and beans and noticed the little purple flowers on the sage! We grow to remember our connection to the earth, to nurture, to engage in the web. Our food comes from plants, not the shops 🌞🥒✨🌧️ hit us up to get your hands dirty 🙌

Every Friday, we get our hands dirty, gather around good food and do something simple that feels really important — show up for each other.

🌱 HARVEST + PREP
From 8:30am — come meet Ziyanda & the team, harvest what’s growing, prep together and be part of the morning crew.

🥣 DISH + SERVE
From 2:00pm — for the late risers. Come dish up, serve, connect and share a meal with the community.

Something new is growing at Surf Yoga Community.

Every Friday, we’re coming together with Love In A Bowl to do something simple, meaningful and very real:

Grow food. Cook food. Share food. Give back.

From around 8:30am, we’ll meet at Love In A Bowl, get our hands dirty and harvest seasonal organic produce from the garden. We’ll prepare and cook nourishing food from scratch, work together and, around 2:00–2:30pm, dish up and serve meals to local school children and community projects.

But we don’t want this to simply be another Friday event.

We want to build a volunteer community around it.

You don’t need to be a farmer.
You don’t need to be a chef.
You don’t need experience.

Just bring comfortable clothes, an open heart and a willingness to lend a hand.

We’re looking for volunteers, cooks, gardeners, organisers, creatives, drivers, farmers, students, parents, surfers, yogis — anyone who wants to show up and help.

Because giving back isn’t always about donating money.

Sometimes it’s your time, hands, energy, skills and willingness to show up.

And when enough people do that together, something powerful happens.

A meal becomes more than a meal.
A garden becomes more than a garden.
Friday becomes community.
