You were a young man with not only a dream, but a passion for coaching. That passion lives in you each and every day you step out onto that pitch.

The way you carry yourself is remarkable. Young kids look up to you. They want to be with you, learn from you, be coach by you, but most important, they see you as a brother, a friend, mentor, and that’s what makes you a remarkable human being. You make time for everyone who wants to talk to you to suck out any bit of knowledge they can from you. And to be able to have that sort of impact on not only a small community, but actually the whole of the Western Cape shows exactly the type of person you are.

You are exactly what our brand has been built on. From the first time I saw you coaching, I knew I wanted you part of my team, but you have exceeded any expectation I could have had of you. And it goes to show in how much you have achieved in such a short time.

From coaching at schools and some private sessions, to coaching at DK Goalkeeping and creating a new path for kids with DK Football in melkbos. Moving into a professional rank youth program with and now going full time with all in just a space of 2 years shows how hard you work and how lucky they are to have you.

All I want to say is that everything you have achieved is because of your vision you’ve had for yourself. I am proud of you and proud to have seen you grow so much. Proud to call you a friend.
