RG World Cup team โจ๐ฟ๐ฆ! Congratulations to team SA's rhythmic gymnasts Chade Jansen and Stephanie Dimitrova who will be representing SA proudly at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup taking place in Italy from 10-12 July 2026.
โOur team is excited to participate in the World Cup in Milan. For Stephanie Dimitrova this will be a great preparation competition for the World Championships next month and for Chade Jansen this will be her first time competing at this level. Luiha is a triple Springbok gymnast, three-time World Champion, Protea coach, mentor, administrator and leader, spending decades building and advancing gymnastics in South Africa.
From representing Team South Africa at multiple World Championships to leading the Region 5 Trampoline Team in Namibia, her impact continues to shine. Most recently, her athletes secured 4 medals at the 2026 African Trampoline Championships, including a team gold and two silver medals.
As Gauteng Chairperson for Acrobatic Gymnastics and Vice Chairperson for Central Gauteng District, Luitha continues to shape the future of our sport and inspire excellence at every level.

Six gymnasts have been selected to represent Team South Africa at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Caitlin Rooskrantz, Naveen Daries, Zelme Daries, Buhle Nhleko, Karma Visagie and Daniel Maclean will wear the green and gold on the Commonwealth stage.
Gymnastics is a sport built on precision, discipline and control. Every routine demands strength, timing and the ability to deliver when the smallest details matter.
For this squad, Glasgow is an opportunity to represent South Africa with focus, composure and pride.
Congratulations to the athletes, coaches and team officials selected to Team South Africa.

2026 Commonwealth Games here we go ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฆ!
SASCOC announced the team SA squad and kit and will be proudly represented by senior women's artistic gymnasts Buhle Nhleko, Karma Visagie, Caitlin Rooskrantz, Zelme Daries and Naveen Daries along with coaches Ilse Pelser and Leeland Christian. The men's artistic gymnast will be Daniel Mclean with coach Kevin Basson.
The 2026 Commonwealth Games will begin on July 23 in Glasgow, Scotland and will run until August 2, 2026.
