Every neighbourhood has its superstars. Century City's just happen to have fur, four paws and main character energy, and this September we're finding out who deserves the crown of Century City's Top Dog.
In partnership with Absolute Pets, we’re celebrating the pooches who make this precinct home.
𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬:
1. 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠. Follow the Century City page and the Absolute Pets page on Instagram or Facebook.
2. 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩 𝐚 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨. Take a high-resolution photo of your dog somewhere in the Century City precinct. Indoor, at-home photos don’t qualify. The precinct needs to be visible in the shot.

We love growing at Century City! To celebrate Arbor Week that started today, and a most beautiful Spring day in our neighbourhood, we planted three indigenous trees.
Our CEO, Marinus Boshoff, planted a Wild Olive in Ratanga Park, which is also this year’s tree of the year. Siyabulela Swaartbooi, Senior Horticulturist, planted a Waterberry next to the canal at Bridgewater and Fezeka Mthembu, Ratanga Park Supervisor, planted a Fever Tree adjacent to Sable Park.

Continuity House is the latest Century City commercial development by Rabie Property Developers. With a gross lettable area of just under 8 000m2 over four floors, it’s an impressive vision adjacent to the Century City Public Transport Interchange.
"Continuity House adds another layer to Century City's story. We wanted a building that responds to its place, one that reflects the energy of Century City now and holds up as the precinct continues to evolve around it." says Mariska Auret, CEO, Rabie Property Developers.

Let’s gather! Our Century City neighbourhood is busy, busy, busy this weekend and into September, so don’t miss out. Whether you’re a market person, need a huge screen and loads of “gees” to watch the rugby or prefer something a little less noisy and more in touch with nature, we’ve got you covered.
From the last few weeks of winter through to the first hints of spring, we're bringing people together in all kinds of ways. So round up your favourite people and make a date of it.

A significant part of the Smart Urban Precinct Management in Century City is our Public Transport Interchange, where Golden Arrow and MyCiti busses , as well as minibus taxis converge daily to bring pedestrians to the neighbourhood and take them home again.
Our PTI has several smart city features, which includes number plate recognition, smart camera surveillance with facial recognition and cashless entry for minibus taxis. We’re looking forward to electric vehicle taxis coming on board soon.
Having access to fast and efficient transport through the MyCiTi bus network throughout Century City smartly alleviates parking problems, lessens carbon emissions, and gets you where you want to be, faster.
