I made my own oat m…. Oh wait it’s just porridge 😭 avoiding seed oils is not for the faint of heart guys

Living in Bali I never really cool my water so I thought that’s where I’d mess up, but nope, dang attention span got the best of me (should have known 🙈😂)

Goldilocks would LOVE it though 😂

Oat milk recipe: cold water, oats, prayer & >30 seconds blending…

Let me know if you go any better. For now I’m sticking too .bali &

A coupla choices I made these last few weeks. It doesn’t have to be perfect it’s just about small steps to a healthier, holistic lifestyle.

Natural deodorant I just wanted to trial so bought the travel size from ✨

Slowly swapping my clothing (especially workout clothes) to natural fibres - think organic cotton, wool, bamboo, linen etc. it’s harder than you think but small changes go a long way. I still run in my well known brands as I need the support but weightlifting, yoga & everyday I’m almost entirely natural fibre now 🫶🏼

I was SUCH a sunnies hype gal but homies we need natural sunlight. It’s been a game changer to eye health, tanning and healthy vitamin D. (Research 😉)

I swapped to natural skincare a while ago but most nights now I do a cheeky caster oil & frankincense (& some other secret ingredients) for my night cream. Keeping my skin clear, hydrated & healthy.

Clean protein, coming back to the UK I used some other well known brands whey protein powder but wow my stomach was annihilated… quick swap to BOHO organic vegan protein & all groovy again. It’s also a great way to get in extra magnesium, zinc 🤍💪🏼

don’t do aesthetics, but dang these tasted good.

Butternut (no wrap) tacos

For two people making two tacos each are used:
1/2 Butternut grated
2 eggs
Cheese of choice
1 avocado
2 to 3 tomatoes
Olive oil
Coriander
1 salmon fillet / chicken breast
Spinach
Lime
Salt

Preheat your oven to 180° then after mixing your grated butter two eggs and cheese place the mixture onto an oiled baking tray (this is important ours got stuck lol) you should be able to see that the mixture is well blended with the egg and cheese as these are gonna be the agents that keep your wrap together.

Put them in the oven for around 15 minutes whilst you cook your chicken and salmon we did ours in the air fryer for around 15 minutes until crispy. If oven cooking do around 20-25 mins & starting them before the butternut wraps.

For the salsa, I diced the tomatoes diced the red onion added olive oil and some coriander. For the guacamole I took and avocado some wine and some salt and just mixed well.

We then loaded our tacos with what we wanted adding extra spinach some extra cheese.

They might not look amazing, but they really did taste phenomenal. Depending if you had salmon or chicken there is around 55 to 89 g of protein. It’s a good source of healthy fibre fats and carbs. This is a really well balanced meal, that taste good, takes under an hour to make…give it a go.

Doing it because you love yourself will get you way further than punishing yourself ❤️

After my conversation with my best friend, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
The “I love yous.”
The “I’m proud of yous.”
The “How did you sleep?” and “How are you really doing?”

As women, many of us have friendships that naturally create support, encouragement, and emotional connection. We check in, we share burdens, we notice when something isn’t right.

But many men don’t have those same spaces.

And that’s not just sad emotionally it’s significant biologically too.

Humans are wired for connection. Strong relationships help buffer stress, improve resilience, and protect mental wellbeing. Yet many men grow up believing they should be self-sufficient, stay strong, and carry their struggles quietly.

When I think about the men in my life, most aren’t villains or stereotypes. They’re good men. Fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, friends. Men working hard, loving their families, carrying responsibilities, and often doing so with very little encouragement.

God didn’t create us to navigate life alone. He created us for community. Men need support. Men need friendship. Men need encouragement. Not because they’re weak, but because they’re human.

Perhaps this Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we can remind the men in our lives that they don’t have to carry everything by themselves. 💙

I love my body ❤️
And the peace that comes from saying that and meaning it echoes through every cell.

Your body hears what you speak.
What you think.
How you treat her.

The quiet war we wage against ourselves often starts when we stop listening.

When we ignore the fatigue.
Suppress the cravings.
Push through the stress.
Override the whispers.

But your body is always communicating.

Cravings are information.
Fatigue a call for rest.
Low mood a sign something is out of balance.
Aches and pains can be suppressed emotions, trauma, lack of boundaries.

Society is loud.
We’ve been taught to silence symptoms, push through exhaustion, and disconnect from the wisdom God built into our bodies.

But you can learn to listen again.

Because your body is so much more than muscles, bones and organs.

It’s hormones constantly communicating, adapting and responding to your environment.

It’s your nervous system taking note of whether you feel safe, connected and supported.

It’s the vagus nerve carrying messages between your brain, heart, lungs and gut — a reminder that God designed every part of us to work together, not in isolation.

It’s an intricate design, woven together by a Creator who thought of everything.

Your body isn’t randomly malfunctioning.
More often than not, it’s communicating.

Inviting you to slow down.
To pay attention.
To come back into alignment.

Not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually too.

Your body isn’t working against you.
It’s working for you.

Learning to understand those signals and respond with compassion instead of criticism is one of the most radical acts of love.

Because when we stop fighting our bodies and start partnering with them, something beautiful happens:
The mind settles.
The body softens.
The soul exhales.

And we begin living in greater harmony with the way God designed us.

“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:13-14 ✨🌿
