Although it’s not necessary to be strong to be a good boxer, you will probably gain some strength while training for boxing.
Especially when doing exercises such as weighted shadowboxing, push-ups, pull-ups or medicine ball throwing.
Doubling up on your lead will confuse your opponent. The first 3 punches will force your opponent to keep his guard high, allowing you to connect with a lead hook to the body!
Adding the pull back to your combinations is a great way to avoid incoming attacks from your opponent as well as a quick counter attack when following up with a 1-2 afterwards!
