Should I send my kid for swim lessons in winter? 🥶

Swim instructors are asked this question every year and the simple answer is a 100% YES...

For kids learning water safety and learning to swim, repetition is key and most of all it is a life skill that is essential. Taking a break over winter results in them loosing track on what they learnt before the break. Time is then spent on getting them back on track when they return to swimming in summer.

I always think of learning to swim as an insurance policy, canceling a policy has detrimental consequences and learning to swim is the best insurance policy one can ever have.

Kids swimming during winter, helps them to stay on track with extraordinary results before the next season of summer. Our pool temperature is at a warm 34 degrees and the area is cosy as well with a heater to keep the ambient air cosy. Parent's enjoy the warmth as well.

Please feel free to dry kids hair, change kids into warm clothes/onesies and a beanie when leaving the pool area.
