Cape Town Trail is entering a new chapter ⛰️🌼
👉 From 2027, the 22km becomes our flagship race. Short, fast, and fiercely competitive. 💨
What does this mean?
We’re saying goodbye to the 43km. It’s been part of our story for years, and it’s not a decision we take lightly. But by backing this new direction, we can build the 22km into one of the deepest short-course trail races in South Africa. 🇿🇦
What makes this exciting?
The prize purse stays the same, just redistributed across the 22km and 11km, for deeper fields and bigger rewards. And the 22km champions (men’s and women’s) win a 10-day trip to Switzerland to race Thyon-Dixence and Sierre-Zinal 🇨🇭✨
