Our EEDA Ladies A & B Teams stepped onto the oche and represented Ekurhuleni East Darts Association with immense pride, passion and determination. 💪❤️

Although our teams may not have placed where we hoped, the results do not define the heart, effort and fight these ladies showed throughout the weekend.

Every dart thrown, every leg fought for, every cheer from the sidelines and every moment standing together as a team made us proud. 🥰🎯

Sometimes you win the trophy, and sometimes you win something even more valuable — experience, memories, friendships and the strength to come back even stronger.

What an exceptional weekend it was! 🏆🎯

Our boys have done Ekurhuleni East incredibly proud. But more than the results, the biggest victory was seeing everyone enjoy themselves, support one another and have FUN!

Darts is an extremely concentrated sport. It requires focus, patience, discipline and mental strength. But at the end of the day, we play sport because we love it. ❤️

You simply cannot play your best darts if you aren’t enjoying yourself.

Having fun is what makes the game special. It’s where friendships are built, where you get to know your teammates, where you get to know your opponents, and where the true spirit of darts comes alive. 🎯

To every player and manager who represented EEDA at this past weekend’s Currie Cup Championship:

Masters Corner – Honouring 30 Years of Dedication

EEDA is proud to celebrate two of our most respected and beloved Masters players, each with over 30 years of dedication to the sport of darts.

Their passion, determination, loyalty, and sportsmanship have inspired generations of players and continue to set the standard for excellence on and off the oche. They are true ambassadors of the game and shining examples of what commitment to our sport looks like.

We are honoured to have these exceptional individuals as part of the EEDA family. Their legacy has helped shape our association and will continue to inspire players for years to come.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for being role models to us all.

What an incredible week it has been. Our Nationals players gave everything they had at the oche, displaying determination, sportsmanship, and true Ekurhuleni East spirit from start to finish.

A special mention goes to our Men's Team, who lit up the week with an impressive number of 180s, proving their skill and consistency throughout the tournament.

A huge congratulations to Mariska Otto on achieving a memorable milestone by throwing her first-ever 180 at Nationals! What an amazing achievement, and one to remember for years to come.

Nationals brought its fair share of pressure, tense matches, and challenging games, but it also gave us countless memories filled with laughter, friendship, and fun. These are the moments that remind us why we love this sport.

A heartfelt thank you to Dolliwarie Guest House for accommodating our entire team throughout the week. Your warm hospitality, exceptional service, and beautiful accommodation made our stay truly unforgettable. You made us feel at home, and it was an experience that will definitely be one for the books.
