Brackenfell Shotokan Karate Academy

Sometimes the right road isn’t the easiest one — but it’s still the right one. 🇿🇦🥋

A fresh start. A new direction. Integrity, transparency and athletes first. Always.

Building something where the sport serves the students — not the pockets. 😉

Proud of the road ahead with SATKKA – South African Traditional Karate and Kobudo Association.

Traditional values. Proper governance. Athletes first. 🥋🇿🇦

🥋 **OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | A NEW CHAPTER FOR BSKA**

Brackenfell Shotokan Karate Academy is proud to announce that our dojo is now officially affiliated with New World Shotokan (NWS), which will serve as our National Style Federation.

This affiliation marks an exciting new chapter for our dojo while we remain firmly committed to the traditions, values and principles of Shotokan Karate.

Through New World Shotokan, our students become part of a broader national Shotokan structure, creating further opportunities for development, participation, grading, competition and growth within karate.

For BSKA, our mission remains the same: to develop our students through discipline, respect, character, confidence and high-quality traditional karate.

We are excited about the road ahead and look forward to growing together with New World Shotokan.
