Something new is joining the South African Indoor Archery Super League - and Western Cape registrations for the SAIASL Grassroots Division (also known as the SAIASL Raw Edition) are officially live!

This brand-new development pathway was created to give entry-level and developing archers the opportunity to experience the excitement, pressure, and team atmosphere of the SAIASL arena.

This is more than simply another archery competition. Grassroots has been built as the feeder system into the SAIASL Super League, giving upcoming archers the opportunity to develop their skills, learn to compete as part of a team, and experience the same high-energy environment that makes SAIASL different.

To create a level playing field, every Grassroots archer will compete at 15 metres using standardised Mathews Genesis Original bows and Easton 1820 aluminium arrows. No equipment advantage - just the archer, the target, and pure skill.

The action stays fast with a 15-second shot clock, 8-archer squads, the exciting Race to 13 match format, and the unmistakable team atmosphere of SAIASL.

The South African Indoor Archery Super League (SAIASL) has officially launched the 30-Day Province Challenge, and you get to decide where the league heads next!

Registration is now open across all 8 remaining provinces simultaneously, but the clock is ticking - entries close in exactly 30 days (25 September 2026).

Whichever province rallies its community and secures the most entries by Day 30 will win the host spot for the next SAIASL season.

If you want to bring the league to your home turf, it's time to step up and make it happen!
