Congratulations, Emma, on your first season of competitive swimming!

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved in such a short space of time. 💃🏻🎉You continue to grow from strength to strength, and no matter what, you always give your very best and never stop trying. That determination and hard work are something to be truly proud of.

You competed at the Level 1 Championships in February/March 2026 and achieved:
• 2 new PBs
• 1 PB equalled
• 3rd Place in the 200m Freestyle🥉

First Open Water Event of the Season – Prime View 🌊

What an awesome start to the Open Water season! For most of our swimmers, it was their first-ever open water swim — and wow, you all smashed it! 💪💦

3km Event:
🏊‍♂️ Jayden Delport – missed the QT by just 1 minute 10 seconds. So close, Jay — you’ve got it next time for sure! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
🏊‍♂️ Nathan Oosthuizen – swam like a champ, finishing in 49 minutes! A little more experience and that QT will be yours too.💃🏻

👏 Big shoutout to Trevor Botha from Hans Moore (Swift) who missed his QT by only 13 seconds – awesome swim! 🎉🎉

1.2km Event:
🏊‍♀️ Erin Haslehurst, Isabelle Botha & Mike Smith – what fantastic swims!
Erin and Isabelle both came in under 20 minutes, and Mr Mike brought it home in under 22 minutes. 🔥

5km Event:
🏊‍♂️ Shane Ramsay – incredible effort taking on the long-distance challenge!

Brought his A-game — 2nd in Butterfly, 3rd in Breaststroke, and 5th in Freestyle! 💪 Way to go, Liam!🎉

We’re so proud of Jayden, who finished 11th overall in his Age Group at the SA Biathle Champs and has qualified for the South African squad heading to the World Champs in December 2025! 🏃‍♂️🏊‍♂️💥

Best of luck to one of our own, Jayden Delport, is competing at the SA Biathle Championships today! 🏊🏻‍♂️ 🏃 We’re proud of you and wish you every success.

Big shout out to Nathan Oosthuizen who smashed his first Triathlon 🏊🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️ 🏃 He came out the water 2nd in his age group and finished 8th overall in Junior men - what an incredible debut 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
