Old Bens Football Club extends our heartfelt condolences to the Gordon family and everyone at Alberton Football Club following the heartbreaking loss of Spencer Gordon. We hold you close in our thoughts and prayers. Spencer’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear Maree Nourse on Friday morning.
To so many of our players, she was simply “Granny Tuckshop”, but to our club, she was so much more. She was warmth, kindness, and comfort on busy game days. So many memories were made standing at that tuckshop, greeted by her smile… and that little red car out front that somehow made everything feel familiar and right.
Maree had a special way with our kids; always caring, always gentle, always making them feel seen. She was a true part of our football family, and her absence will be deeply felt by all of us.
We’ve allowed the family some quiet time to grieve, and we continue to hold them close in our thoughts and prayers.
For those who would like to honour her life, her memorial will be held on 1 April 2026.
