What an incredible achievement for our very own Coach Vanessa Cornelius!

We are immensely proud to celebrate Vanessa, who recently served as Team Manager for two of the three Western Province High School District teams, helping guide both teams to medal-winning performances at the 2026 Inter District Tournament.

As South Africa's oldest netball club, we continue to nurture talent and uphold our legacy of excellence. Vanessa's journey from representing Western Province as a student player to now serving as BNC's Coaches Convenor is a true reflection of her dedication, leadership, and passion for the game.

Vanessa's selfless heart, unwavering commitment to fair, merit-based netball, and the countless hours she invests in developing our players make her an invaluable part of the BNC family.

We are immensely proud of the 8 BNC players selected to represent their districts at the 2026 Inter District Tournament. With one player representing West Coast District and seven representing Cape Town Primary Schools Netball, this is a true reflection of the talent, hard work, and dedication within our club.

As South Africa's oldest netball club, we continue to nurture talent and uphold our legacy of excellence. These girls train hard at BNC and shine through their school trials. 💪

To every player who proudly wore their district colours, captained their teams, stood on the podium, and gave everything on court—you have represented BNC with pride. Your commitment, resilience, and never-give-up attitude continue to inspire us all.

🏅 BNC Achievers | 🔥 From Club Court to National Court

Congratulations to Shannon Botman on achieving her National South African (NSA) C Umpire Grading at the USSA Netball Tournament, held at the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein from 29 June – 3 July 2026.

Over five days of competition, Shannon officiated full matches for both men's and women's teams representing tertiary institutions and universities from across South Africa. Her hard work, professionalism, and commitment to the game have now earned her recognition as a National Umpire.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, discipline, and passion Shannon brings to netball. We are especially proud to see her representing not only Bellville Netball Club but also Western Province umpiring on the national stage.

A special mention to the incredible spirit shown by the Western Cape universities and umpires throughout the tournament. The support, camaraderie, and willingness to help one another grow embody everything that makes our netball community so special.

Congratulations to Jamie-Leigh Swanepoel, Kiesha Solomons, Torihl Visagie, and Jade-Lynne Hendricks on representing the Cape Town Netball Federation – Western Province U19 teams at the 2026 Telkom Netball Championships.

Five unforgettable days of competition saw these players proudly represent their province with passion, determination, and sportsmanship on the national stage.

🏅 BNC Achievers | 🔥 From Club Court to Provincial Court

Congratulations to Gabriella Jacobs and Dembe Mabidi on representing the Western Cape Schools Netball Team at the 🏆 SASN All Ages 2026 Tournament, held from 29 June – 2 July 2026 in Boksburg.

Gabriella proudly represented the U12 Willows, achieving an impressive 5th place out of 23 teams, while Dembe proudly represented the U12 Cedars, finishing 10th out of 23 teams.

Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship have been inspiring to watch. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment you have shown both at club and provincial level.
