A quick angle of a special we've been jooshing-up throughout winter, split into phases focusing on distinct areas to ease costs over time, now heading into bi-weekly maintenance... the first ever "stranger" (not a friend or family) who took a chance on us! 🌿

Loved the tiles on Louise's braai, so took inspiration from those colours and painted many of the plethora of pots she already had to give them new life... "Biscuit" by Duram is a personal favourite - adds so much warmth! Planted loads of colourful geraniums in the pots pictured here, and they're all starting to bloom now. All existing plants were saved and planted out (such as the beautiful variegated ficus, which is currently recovering well from the shock!). We laid fresh paving & stones to the front door, and arranged all the interesting bits & bobs she had lying around - like vintage glass bottles, metal fireplaces, sentimental mosaics and even an old hand-pushed plough (not in this pic). The benches have been used in the “Africa Wild Tea Garden" we're currently finishing up - we never waste items that are still usable.

Lots more done on this property; a little bit rubbish at remembering to take pics, but will surely be posting more soon as , so everywhere is starting to flourish! 🌿

Let's have some fun with + - the Bloomin' Marvellous R200 challenge...

The parameters:
🌿 3 or more friends in one visit to the shop make up a challenge.
🌿 Each person makes up an outfit for R200 or less.
🌿 The definition of outfit in this case is 2 or more new or thrifted items anywhere on your body that you will legit wear in public. We've got a good range of sizes. Yes, we have a few items for men too.
🌿 You need to actually like what you're buying, so you need to wear it straight from the shop out - this isn't about wasteful spending, it's about fabulous and quality time with your special people.
🌿 The winner (lowest cost of outfit) gets a free R60/70 cactus/succulent from our pre-potted table.
🌿 The loser (highest cost of outfit) has to pay for everything for all friends in the challenge (OK, we won't really enforce this; times are tough, but know that theoretically you owe your friends, so maybe buy a bottle of vino to share at Pinecreek Restaurant & Farmstall just after 😁)
🌿 Nice people who have fun and let us take & post pics of them get 10% off 😜
