In the last two weeks, two hurricanes have swept through the Caribbean destroying my two islands of St. Maarten and Dominica. Fortunately, my family members are still alive but there are those including my grandparents who no longer have a place to call home. There are many others like them who have lost everything but the clothes on their back and are now facing the harsh reality of having to struggle to find food to eat and clean drinking water. Not to mention the despair of having to rebuild their lives from nothing. I would like to ask all of you out there to make a donation however you can to help these people get back on their feet again. Everyday things which we take for granted such as food, water, and even toilet paper, are needed right now on the islands. I pray to you too come to the aid of these less fortunate people and lend a helping hand. These donations will go toward the buying of basic necessities for the people of the island of Dominica who are in dire need of all the assistance that they can get. Don’t sit there and feel sorry for these people and their struggles, take Action. You can do something about their situation. Make a contribution that can change the life of someone today.
