When’s the last time you actually thought about your feet during training? Probably never. That might be the problem.
Your feet determine your balance, stability, positioning, and proprioception. If the foundation is off, everything above it has to compensate.
When someone’s technique breaks down, knees cave, balance is off, or they’re dealing with pain or irritation, the first thing I check is how they’re connecting with the ground. I can usually tell within one rep if they’re disconnected.
Sometimes the answer isn’t another mobility drill, new cue, or program change. It’s what’s happening at the root.
Strong movement starts with your feet.
Do you ever train barefoot?
If not, try this in your next training session, then report back. 🫡
If your training still feels off, form isn’t clicking, or progress has stalled: Form Checks + Private Strategy Sessions are available via the link in my bio.
