Ahoy Hashers! Our next run is Sunday 30 August, run number 646.
Independence Day Weekend! Chúc mừng Ngày Quốc khánh Việt Nam!!

This will be a city walk. Leaving from Time House, we will meander through the streets and find interesting pockets of urban Nha Trang life.

And the best part, entry fee this week and this week only is 50k! That's right, 50,000 VND. This includes beer and water in the circle at the end. Along the way we have a super cheap beer stop or two, so bring your stack of small bills.

Charge your phones, we will take some good pictures of urban life and street food!

Blood Diamond & Fat Bastard

This week adventure was in Diên Phước, a small village west of Nha Trang (about 20km). While this week our group was reduced 17 (many visa runs) the atmosphere was to joy, happiness and the pursuit of the next cold beer 🍻! Diên Phước, is encountering rapid changes but it still have it's countryside charm, and host numerous "original" "old" houses with well keep garden's and welcoming locals.
Big props to Fat Bastard & Blood Diamond who set up the perfect 7km trail, we really appreciated the clean environment and fresh air... it was one of the most beautiful walk of the year!
We end up with our usual "circle" where we made fun of the people who got "lost"!
..and the food this week? A pesto pasta salad provided by Taxi Girl & Free Balls... Delicious!

​Dear friends,

​This week’s adventure was in the hills of the mango-growing section of Suối Dầu (east side of Highway №1). The trees were still bearing flowers and fruit, and the locals were busy picking and packing their harvest. It was surely a funny sight for them to see the merry band of our beer-drinking walking along the paths through the plantations. When we stopped at a few mango gathering points, we were even gifted some fruit (thank you!).

​The view from the higher ground gave us many opportunities to admire the valley below, bathed in the dying afternoon sun... spectacular!

The last section of our walk, before rejoining the bus, took us through the village below the hills—a place where old houses are being replaced with new constructions, and where locals welcome you with smiles and small talk.

​We ended, as usual, with our infamous "circle," where we reviewed our day's adventure, ate our light lunch (egg sandwiches this week), and drank a little more beer!

​All in all, it was another magical afternoon among friends. We highly recommend that you, our readers, join us next week Time House Bistro & Bar !

Yesterday, a crowd of around 55 people, and many new faces, join Nha Trang Hash House Harriers for our weekly Sunday adventure. Our group, , went to walk to new grounds in the hills of Khánh Vĩnh countryside, ouest of Nha Trang and the cloudy weather was perfect for a wonderful day...
