What a cracking good afternoon of cricket with The Coffee Stars defeating Weavers. It was a treat to have some outstanding players from Da Nang join us. Crikey those Indians and South Africans bowl with lightening speed! And they were very supportive and encouraging to the girls. Thanks guys.

Game 11 in the Sampan, Weavers, Uno Super 8's mixed cricket league won by the coffee stars. Uno falling short in the chase by 9 runs.

Notable performances from Elissa bowling 2 overs for 6 runs and smashing 16 runs from 2 knocks. Dilantha with 36 unbeaten runs and taking 1 wicket for 13 runs off 2 overs. Also Thanh with a wicket maiden and 2 wickets in total from 1.1 overs, following up her wicket for 2 runs off one over in the previous game.

Thanks to all who took part in the 2 games yesterday especially Duncan, Collin, Viki and John for umpiring. Sarah for scoring. The magnificent Pham sisters for providing drinks and shade as always and our sponsors Weavers for paying to get the pitch trimmed.

Another thrilling game of cricket with The Bangers snatching a win from Team 3 Dragons by a mere 2 runs. Special mention to newcomer Tuyen who has NEVER played before and clean bowled a player to take a wicket. Impressive. New players always welcome and we love spectators coming down.
