This isn’t just a camp. It’s a chance for your kids to grow stronger, move better, feel more confident, and build discipline through martial arts and movement.
Over 5 days, the kids will train, play, and learn through:

✅ Jiu-Jitsu
✅ Self-Defense
✅ Mobility
✅ Kickboxing

Whether your child is shy, full of energy, or simply curious to try something new, our camp is designed to help them build confidence, body awareness, and inner strength in a safe and supportive environment.

The program is taught by National Champions and Medalists, with coaches who know how to make training fun, structured, and meaningful for kids.

Đây không chỉ là một trại hè. Đây là cơ hội để các bé trở nên mạnh mẽ hơn, tự tin hơn, linh hoạt hơn và rèn luyện kỷ luật thông qua vận động và võ thuật.
Trong 5 ngày, các bé sẽ được học và trải nghiệm:

✅ Jiu-Jitsu
✅ Tự vệ
✅ Mobility
✅ Kickboxing

Dù bé hơi nhút nhát, nhiều năng lượng, hay chỉ đơn giản muốn thử một hoạt động mới, chương trình được thiết kế để giúp các bé xây dựng sự tự tin, khả năng kiểm soát cơ thể và nội lực trong một môi trường an toàn, vui vẻ và tích cực.

Chương trình được hướng dẫn bởi các Nhà Vô Địch Quốc Gia và Vận Động Viên Đạt Huy Chương, cùng đội ngũ huấn luyện viên tận tâm, biết cách giúp các bé vừa học nghiêm túc vừa có thật nhiều niềm vui.

[Hard Work by Good People #32] Street Jiu Jitsu Saigon Championship
Over the weekend, the Arkain team competed at Street Jiu Jitsu for the second time. We sent 7 competitors and emerged with a (totally intentional) record of 11 wins and 11 losses. 3 were first-timers, and all came out with at least 1 victory to their names. Fortunately for us, all eventually lost. Absolutely nobody's getting their blue belt this year with that performance 😩

Jokes aside, we were incredibly proud of everyone putting themselves out there. The white belt boys all had their highlights: Jay's persistent top pressure, Pasha's undeniable K guard, Ortega's HIP TOSS, and Alex with whatever he did escaping that closed guard without breaking his neck. Many many flaws, but if you hadn't competed, you wouldn't have known.

On the colored belts end, Chelsey and Huy Anh signed up for both Weight and Absolute despite injuries and hardships pre-comp. Both fought hard, both lost. Clear holes showed in their top and bottom games. But here's the thing: all of us, coaches included, made these same mistakes at lower belt. What matters is that both came back the very next day to train. The question now is whether you'll train with real focus to fix it, or train for the sake of training. Do the former, and you'll win again, soon.

Last but not least, Tommy. 4 matches, 3 wins, 1 loss by advantage, 0 points scored on. A phenomenal outcome for our 14-year old orange belt in the Adult Blue Belt division. Phenomenal NOT because he won, but because thankfully, he lost, exactly in the fashion he should be at his age: inexperienced tactics, not a failure of strength, speed, or technique. Same question: will he put deliberate work into studying the game? We hope he does. Stand tall, Tommy. You put on a show not many adults could. Now go train.

A sincere thanks to coach Alex of Team Shark, coach Damon of 10p Jiu Jitsu, and the many supporters and organizers of Street Jiu Jitsu. Such a pleasure to witness the growth of Vietnam's Jiu Jitsu again as part of Saigon's community. May we all meet again on the mats at an even grander stage.

ArKids Promotions!

Last Saturday, we concluded the first half of the year with a great morning session, leading to the promotions of our Kids class. Our sincere thanks to the parents, the teammates, and of course, the students who came to make the day special and warm.

Looking forward to growing the lovely community here, and grateful to be a part of it.

[Hard Work by Good People] #31 - The Kids at TheGis Summer Gathering Kids Tournament

The HWBGP series took a rest in the last 6 months. We Adults may or may not got burnt out with all the tournaments, and that was exactly why our Kids showed up last Sunday and made their marks instead 😤

9 matches. 8 wins. 4 Gold Medals. Only 3 competitors. The only loss was an Arkain-on-Arkain crime. We shall overlook that.

Nghi & Hannah both take on the tween brackets (separate divisions) to go on a tear, racking up 6 submissions in total.

Nghi, true to her nature, did two decisive takedowns that we absolutely have never taught her (osoto gari, to those wondering), both ended up in mount which led to the finish. We’re very proud of her efforts - especially know how far she travels each day to train with the team. Well-deserved kiddo.

Hannah, as if wanted to diversify the winning method, pulled guard in all her matches and finished beautifully with multiple arm bars, triangles, etc... In the midst of it, she showcased not just her bottom but top game, spamming torreandos into leg drags that’d make an adult white belt cry. We were proud.

Lastly, there was Tommy. Despite getting all his best weapons sealed due to the rules of the Kids tournament, he finished both his matches with the ol’ reliable armbar, then bow and arrow choke. As much as we joke that this was expected, we were very proud of the work he’s put in at the gym everyday. No one trains harder than Tommy, and the work’s showed. In the next couple of weeks, we will see Tommy enter the colored-belt division of Adult tournaments for the first time with most of his weapons unlocked. We will make sure to ramble longer then.

This event was extra special with the sheer numbers of academies involved. We want to give our sincerest thanks to the team at .asia .c88 and many more who has led, hosted, and built the amazing community that we saw yesterday. The future of Saigon’s kids jiu jitsu is bright.
