This is Mathieu, he will be hosting our
Breathwork Workshop on the 20th
Here is a little about him and how he came to his practice of studying the breath
“For years, I lived largely in my head, disconnected from my body, overwhelmed by stress, emotions and patterns that weren’t serving me.
Six years ago, I began exploring movement and breathwork as a way to reconnect with myself. What started as a personal practice quickly became transformative. I experienced profound changes in my emotional balance, mental clarity and overall wellbeing and developed a deep fascination with the power of the breath.
That personal journey grew into a passion for understanding breathwork more deeply and sharing it with others.
I trained in Pranayama, the ancient yogic practice of breath regulation, under the guidance of Michael Bijker. I am also completing my Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor training under Patrick McKeown, combining traditional breathing practices with a deeper scientific understanding of breathing physiology and everyday functional breathing.
My approach brings these worlds together: ancient practice, modern science and lived experience.
My goal is simple.. To help people step out of constant mental noise, reconnect with their bodies and discover how much influence they already have over their physical, mental and emotional state.
The breath is something we carry with us every moment of every day. Learning how to work with it can become one of our most powerful tools for creating calm, building focus, regulating emotions and returning to the present moment.”
