Boat diving in Con Dao always depends on the daily harbour status announced by the Harbour Master, along with weather and sea conditions.
Even on sunny days, strong offshore winds or rough seas may result in a temporary harbour closure as part of standard safety procedures. When the harbour is open, our boat diving trips operate as scheduled.
If the harbour is temporarily closed but nearshore conditions remain suitable, we may offer shore diving as an alternative. Shore diving is also a great option for PADI training, skill practice, and relaxed reef exploration.
If you're planning a diving holiday in Con Dao, we recommend keeping your itinerary flexible, especially during periods of changing weather.

Hoạt động lặn bằng tàu tại Côn Đảo luôn phụ thuộc vào trạng thái hoạt động của cảng do Cảng vụ thông báo hằng ngày, cùng với điều kiện thời tiết và biển.
Ngay cả khi trời nắng đẹp, gió ngoài khơi mạnh hoặc biển động vẫn có thể khiến cảng tạm thời đóng cửa nhằm đảm bảo an toàn. Khi cảng mở, các chuyến lặn bằng tàu sẽ diễn ra theo kế hoạch.
Nếu cảng tạm đóng nhưng điều kiện ven bờ vẫn phù hợp, chúng tôi có thể tổ chức các chuyến shore dive thay thế. Đây cũng là lựa chọn lý tưởng cho các khóa học PADI, luyện tập kỹ năng hoặc khám phá rạn san hô một cách thư giãn.

This tiny juvenile Harlequin Sweetlips has one of the reef's cleverest survival tricks. Instead of swimming like most fish, it drifts and wiggles like a floating leaf to avoid predators.

Based on the latest forecast from Windy.com, we believe the harbor may remain closed until July 31. However, weather and sea conditions can change, so we will continue monitoring the situation closely and provide updates if anything changes.

If sea conditions allow, we may offer Shore Diving as an alternative while the harbor is closed. Our goal is to provide a dive that is both safe and enjoyable. Shore dive conditions are assessed daily, and underwater visibility may vary depending on the weather.
Our team carefully checks the latest weather forecasts and sea conditions every day. Based on the most up to date information, we will always recommend the safest and best diving option for you.

As the harbor is currently closed, all boat trips related to sea turtles, including turtle watching and turtle snorkeling tours, are temporarily suspended until the harbor reopens.

🐡 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 – 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗼'𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!

Meet the Dogface Pufferfish (Arothron nigropunctatus), one of Con Dao's most charming reef residents. Growing up to 33 cm (13 inches) long, it has a rounded body, a short snout, and a distinctive dog-like face. Its colors range from grey and brown to vibrant blue, yellow, and orange, with unique black spots that make every individual look different.
Despite its funny expression, this gentle reef resident is one of the smartest fish on the coral reef. It uses its powerful beak to feed on crabs, shellfish, and sea urchins, helping maintain the balance of the reef ecosystem. 🪸
When threatened, it can inflate into a spiky ball, but most of the time it's simply cruising peacefully among the corals.

Đây là Cá Nóc Mặt Chó (Arothron nigropunctatus), một trong những cư dân đáng yêu nhất của rạn san hô Côn Đảo. Chúng có thể dài tới 33 cm, với thân tròn, mõm ngắn và khuôn mặt giống chú cún rất dễ nhận ra. Màu sắc của chúng rất đa dạng, từ xám, nâu đến xanh lam, vàng và cam, cùng những đốm đen đặc trưng khiến mỗi cá thể đều mang một vẻ ngoài riêng.

Mặc dù sở hữu biểu cảm trông khá hài hước, loài cá này lại là một trong những cư dân thông minh của rạn san hô. Với chiếc mỏ khỏe, chúng dễ dàng nghiền vỡ cua, sò và nhím biển để kiếm ăn, đồng thời góp phần duy trì sự cân bằng của hệ sinh thái rạn san hô. 🪸
Khi gặp nguy hiểm, chúng có thể phồng mình thành một quả bóng đầy g*i để tự vệ. Nhưng phần lớn thời gian, chúng chỉ thong thả bơi giữa những rạn san hô.
