Hello, my loves. 🤍
I wanted to hop on here and share a little update regarding the summer pop-up classes I had promised.
This photo was taken just two days ago at sunset. The sun is actually hiding behind an incredibly thick layer of Saharan dust.
At first glance, it looks like just another overcast evening, but the dust has been so dense that it’s creating a noticeable heaviness in the air. Many of us have been experiencing allergies, irritated eyes, difficulty breathing, headaches, and an overall feeling of fatigue.
For that reason, I’ve decided not to offer any outdoor yoga classes for the remainder of the summer.
Our beautiful studio is open-air, and so much of what we practice revolves around pranayama, our breath, as well as finding deep rest and restoration.
With the air quality being what it is, I don’t feel it’s in anyone’s best interest to gather outdoors and ask our bodies to breathe more deeply. Your health and well-being will always come first.
Of course, this could all change! If we get a good soaking rain and this dry spell finally breaks, you can absolutely expect a delicious restorative yoga pop-up to follow. ✨
Thank you all for an incredible season. My heart is so full of gratitude for each of you. I’ll be sharing another post soon reflecting on this past season and some exciting changes and adventures ahead.
Until then, take good care of yourselves, breathe gently, and I’ll see you on the mat again soon. 🤍

Our retreats are created with love, passion, and intention. Every experience is thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique gifts of each facilitator, creating a week that is both meaningful and unforgettable.
We carefully curate every retreat so that each offering feels authentic to the person sharing it. Whether it’s yoga, mindful movement, sailing, sound baths, meditation, watersports, or sharing the rich history, culture, and traditions of the places we are so fortunate to explore.
We believe the magic of our retreats comes from the people who lead them and the genuine passion they bring to every moment.
Today, we are absolutely delighted to introduce one of the incredible women helping guide and facilitate our Awaken Your Senses at Sea Retreat in The Grenadines.
Meet Cathy Taylor.
Cathy has been a Sports Therapist for over 30 years & a Yoga Teacher for 15 years. She is currently embarking on a 3yr sailing voyage from UK to Caribbean in her 35ft Camper Nicholson sailing boat with her partner.
She has worked in the UK & run retreats abroad for many years with the intention of helping folk release tension & find inner peace in our fast-paced world.
Cathy is passionate about water sports, particularly long-distance open water swimming & holds national titles in competition.
Her most important life role to date is as mum to her 2 boys (24 & 22yrs) who have thankfully inherited her love of the ocean!
Thalassotherapy… the best therapy of all!
We are over the moon to have Cathy joining us! 💖

So PUMPED to be heading back to the Grenadines for another unforgettable week of sailing, swimming, paddle boarding, practicing yoga, eating nourishing food, and soaking in the simple magic of life on the water with a group of people who love these things just as much as we do.
My heart is full. I feel incredibly grateful and honestly so proud that we get to create these meaningful wellness and adventure experiences for others. Watching people slow down, reconnect with themselves, embrace adventure, and build genuine friendships along the way is such a gift.
The countdown has officially begun. Awaken Your Senses at Sea in The Grenadines is less than a month away! Let’s go!!!

Alaska has a way of teaching lessons without saying a word.
Through the rhythm of the tides.
The stillness of the forests.
The endless summer light.
The mountains that have stood quietly for centuries.
Two weeks ago, an incredible group of women gathered in Sitka for our Awaken Your Senses retreat, and somewhere between the hikes, kayak adventures, yoga practices, shared meals, laughter, and quiet moments of reflection, something beautiful unfolded.
Connection. Not just with each other, but with ourselves.
In a world that constantly asks us to do more, produce more, and move faster, we gave ourselves permission to slow down.
We were also fortunate to spend this week on the ancestral homelands of the Tlingit people, whose deep connection to this place spans countless generations. Throughout the week, we were reminded we were guests in a land so rich.
As we wandered through the Tongass National Forest, paddled Sitka Sound, and immersed ourselves in the wild beauty of Southeast Alaska, I felt immense gratitude for the people and culture that have long honored and protected this land and water.
Sitka is a special place I have been so fortunate to experience and call my second home. I feel so much joy sharing this place and my knowledge of the land, culture and history. My biggest hope is we all left with a deeper appreciation for the importance of living in relationship with the natural world.

To my St. John community & island guests,
I’m officially on my version of time off… aka a little personal spring break!
I’ve paused all public and private classes until summertime as I head off-island to fill my cup. First stop: Spain for a restorative yoga + nervous system teacher training!!!!!!!! followed by some travels before we gather for our third annual Sitka Wellness & Adventure retreat at the end of May!!!!!!!!
Before I go, I just want to say thank you all for such a kick ass winter season, truly one for the books. I’ve learned so much through teaching you all what I love. Thank you for showing up, for taking care of yourselves, and for allowing me to do what I love.
This time away is all about learning, slowing down, and reconnecting to my higher self, so I can come back and hold even more intentional, nourishing space for you all.
I can’t wait to return refreshed, inspired, and ready to share new offerings with our beautiful St. John community and beyond.
See you all on the mat this summer.
Xoxoxo
