The Helenites Sports Club Leadership Award!

This Award recognizes one of our youth athletes who commits and applies themselves in the right way on and off the field. Riley Pomykal has shown great improvement as a player and has absorbed his responsibilities as an assistant coach for the U10 Girls along with other roles in a positive and assertive manner. We appreciate Riley's commitment to the club and we know he will do well in his future endeavors!

The 2025-26 "Dander Barnes" Commitment Award goes to Nedra Encarnacion! We appreciate her continuous hard work and dedication towards the program and hope to have her around for years to come!

Dander Barnes is a long time dedicated servant of the football community from his early days in Antigua to his many years living in St. Croix working with The Federation and yours truly the Helenites Sports Club. This Award recognizes individuals who have committed themselves throughout the season similar to the way Mr. Barnes has done and continues to do!

🏆⚽ Against All Odds: Helenites SC’s Unforgettable CFU Club Shield Run

Our Helenites Sports Club Men's Team journeyed to Trinidad for the CFU Club Shield carrying the hopes of the Virgin Islands—and they delivered a campaign filled with fight, faith, and history.

The First Round
🆚 St. Pauls SC — Won 3-0
Even with six players missing after travel chaos, the squad showed incredible unity. A clean sheet and a statement win set the tone.

Round of 16
🆚 Baltimore SC — Won by forfeit
A walkover that secured precious points and momentum heading into the last 8, a rare and proud achievement for Virgin Islands Football.

Quarterfinal
🆚 Metropolitan
The boys came out blazing, taking a 1-0 lead into the second half. Metropolitan struck back with two goals, and despite a relentless fight in the closing minutes, the match ended 2-1. The dream of the semifinals slipped through our fingers, but the effort, the tackles, and the refusal to quit left everyone in awe.
