Wildlife Wednesday!

Did you know there’s a species of deer that live in the U.S Virgin Islands? The white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) can be found on all three islands and first records of them being brought and released on St. Croix date back to the late 1700s. They get their name from the bright white underside of their tail.

Some of our guests we able to see some of their tracks on a beach stop during a National Park Tour!

The Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) will take part in the COAST WEEKS INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP, also known as COASTWEEKS, from Saturday, September 21st to Saturday, October 26th.
