The Crustacean Nation fights back! It is very common for invasive Lionfish to prey on juvenile Spiny Lobsters, which results in significant population loss.
These two species also share the same reef habitats, putting them in direct competition and frequent contact.

We have been raking the sand with magnets to find loose fish hooks to make sure the sand is safe to walk on.
We are monitoring cameras at night to make sure this stops.
