One of the most heartwarming moments of our Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive journey came when our beautiful young FAPA star, Miss Jiixla, surprised her FAPA sisters, Miss Nubia and Miss Azalea, during their intensive!

This special visit was about so much more than a surprise—it was a beautiful reminder of what FAPA stands for.

For young dancers like Jiixla, seeing her older FAPA sisters training at one of the world’s most respected ballet programs is incredibly powerful. It gives her a glimpse into what is possible through dedication, discipline, perseverance, and believing in herself.

✨ FAPA USVI | Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives – Las Vegas 2026 Treasure Island ✨

2️⃣🎬 Day 2 was truly unforgettable!

Our FAPA students experienced something extraordinary as they attended the world-famous MYSTÈRE by Cirque du Soleil alongside their entire Joffrey Ballet School summer intensive class and instructors. What an incredible opportunity to witness world-class artistry, athleticism, storytelling, music, and movement performed at the highest professional level!

Even more inspiring, several of their Joffrey instructors are professional Cirque du Soleil artists, giving our dancers the unique opportunity to learn from performers who live and breathe excellence every day. Watching these incredible artists on stage brought classroom lessons to life and showed our students what dedication, discipline, and passion can achieve.

The evening became even more magical when the students were invited to meet the cast after the performance, take photos, and create lifelong memories with the talented performers. Moments like these remind young dancers that dreams are real, careers in the performing arts are possible, and talent truly has no ceiling.

At FAPA, we believe dance education extends far beyond the studio. Traveling, experiencing live performances, meeting professional artists, and learning from the very best in the industry inspire our students to dream bigger, work harder, and believe in themselves.

As Week 4 begins, we’re excited to welcome a new group of dancers to Joffrey South for an unforgettable summer of training. This week, students are training in two exceptional programs: our Joffrey South Ballet Summer Intensive, under the artistic direction of Colleen Barnes @colleenbarnes10, and our Joffrey South Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive, led by Artistic Director Colleen Barnes alongside Associate Artistic Director Lindsay Giedl @lindsgiedl. Throughout the week, dancers will immerse themselves in rigorous training, refine their artistry, and work toward a culminating performance that celebrates all they’ve accomplished. We’re thrilled to welcome these students to our summer community and can’t wait to see them shine. The first week of our Joffrey Miami Ballet Summer Intensive has officially kicked off! Under the direction of Artistic Directors Diego Salterini @dsalterini and Hannah Baumgarten @wisedancer, dancers are beginning an immersive training experience designed to strengthen their technical foundation while fostering artistic growth. As they move between ballet, pre-pointe and pointe, variations, modern, jazz, and flamenco, dancers are strengthening their technique, expanding their artistry, and embracing new challenges with each class. Every session is designed to build confidence, refine movement quality, and inspire expressive performance. The summer begins with a warm welcome. Our 2026 Joffrey Las Vegas Ballet Summer Intensive students gathered for orientation, where they connected with fellow dancers and heard from Artistic Director Maximilien Baud @maximilienbaud as they prepared for an immersive summer of exceptional training, artistic exploration, and professional mentorship. As part of Joffrey Ballet School’s eighth year of artistic collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting @cirquedusoleilcasting, students will gain exclusive insight into the professional performance industry through experiences connected to Mystère, KÀ, and Michael Jackson ONE.
