This exciting funding opportunity provides up to $5,000 to support projects that use the arts to improve health, wellness, and quality of life throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Whether you're an artist, nonprofit, healthcare provider, school, or community organization, this grant encourages creative partnerships that make a real impact through the arts.

Eligible projects may include:
🎭 Arts programs that support mental and emotional well-being
🎶 Music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing, and storytelling
🏥 Arts activities in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers
👵 Programs that reduce social isolation for seniors, veterans, caregivers, youth, and individuals with disabilities
🌺 Traditional Virgin Islands cultural arts that promote healing and wellness
🤝 Community workshops, artist residencies, and innovative arts & health collaborations

💰 Awards of up to $5,000 are available per fiscal year, subject to available funding and Board approval.

The wait is over! It’s time to reserve your place for another exciting season of dance, creativity, and growth at The French Academy of Performing Arts (FAPA USVI)!

Our 2026 Orientation Week begins Monday, August 24, and is designed to help every student start the season with confidence. During orientation, dancers will meet their instructors, receive important studio information, learn class expectations, and prepare for an amazing year ahead.

⚠️ Before attending Orientation Week, all students MUST register first and receive their class schedule and assigned class times.

FAPA & FBT Our Mission is to expand & enhance knowledge of dance, gymnastics & performing arts to the youth USVI

We are thrilled to welcome an incredible group of dancers to The University of Akron as they begin two weeks of immersive training at Joffrey Ballet School’s Akron Summer Intensive. This multi-genre intensive is led by Artistic Director, Colleen Barnes @colleenbarnes10, who currently serves as Area Chair and Assistant Professor of Dance–Ballet at The University of Akron, Throughout the program, dancers will train in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, modern, and more while refining their technique, expanding their artistry, and building lasting connections with fellow dancers from around the world. Our partnership with The University of Akron also creates a unique pathway for dancers in Joffrey Ballet School’s Pre-Professional Trainee Program, offering them the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the university while continuing their professional dance training.
