British professional triathlete Daisy Davies makes her debut at Challenge Samarkand – and she’s arriving as a reigning champion.
In 2026, Daisy claimed victory at Ironman South Africa, confirming her fighting spirit right at the start of the season. 2025 was also a successful year for her: a win at Challenge Almere and 3rd place at Challenge Peguera Mallorca demonstrated the consistency of her results on the international stage.
Now Daisy is ready to test herself on new terrain – in the women’s PRO category at Challenge Samarkand.

German professional triathlete Florian Angert makes his debut at Challenge Samarkand – and he’s arriving with a proven track record.

Back in 2021, Florian claimed the top step of the podium at Challenge «The Championship» in Samorin, proving he has what it takes to win at the highest level. Since then, he has continued to show his class: 3rd place at Ironman 70.3 Tallinn in 2025 and 3rd place at Ironman Austria in 2026.

A PTO ranking of 86 speaks for itself - this is an athlete capable of fighting for the podium over any distance.

Now Florian is ready to test himself on new terrain - in the men’s PRO category at Challenge Samarkand.

Professional triathlete from New Zealand Nicole Van Der Kaay returns to Challenge Samarkand. In 2024, she had already prepared to race here but was unable to take part.
Since then, Nicole has shown consistently strong performances: a victory at Tauranga Half in 2026 and first place at Ironman 70.3 Shanghai in 2025.
We’re glad to have Nicole back with us this year – and we’re looking forward to seeing her take on the Samarkand course.

We’ve received many questions about accommodation bookings for Challenge Samarkand 2026 at the Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex, and we’d like to share some important information.

When booking through the official Silk Road Samarkand website, be sure to use the special promo code TCHS26. Once the code is applied, you will be able to view the list of hotels offering special rates exclusively for participants of our event.

We understand how important it is for athletes to be able to finish the race, celebrate their achievement, relax, and depart the following day. Therefore, we’d like to emphasize that accommodation with check-out on 14 September is available for booking.

If you have any questions when choosing a hotel or making your reservation, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’re always happy to help and make your stay in Samarkand as comfortable as possible.
