DIVE GEAR SAFETY ALERT ⚠️

Apeks has issued a recall for certain XL4, XL4+ and Ocea regulator second stages after a manufacturing defect was identified that may restrict breathing-gas flow at depths exceeding 45m.

The recall affects units with serial numbers:

250402212 – 260402893

These regulators were manufactured between April 2025 and April 2026. Divers with an affected regulator are advised not to use it until it has been inspected and, where necessary, repaired. Inspection and required repairs are being provided free of charge.

No incidents or injuries have been reported by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
