You’ve worked all summer for this. Now it’s time to see it through. Who will shock scow country this year?

Lake Geneva Yacht Club is rolling out the red carpet for 77 E Scow teams competing for the title of E Scow National Champion.

Last year’s Nationals was a big-breeze, big-wave test, and Kyle Navin earned his first E Nationals victory as a driver. Navin is not in the lineup this year. Who will step in?

The field is set to be a highly competitive crowd of 77 boats in none other than Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The contender list is deep: Burton, Cox, Jewett, Porter, Porter, Rogers, Wilkins, Brown, and Terhune all come in with the experience, recent results or home-lake knowledge to make a run at it.

One of the premier hosts in scow country, Lake Geneva Yacht Club has a pedigree when it comes to some of the highest-level sailing competition in the United States.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Nothing compares to an E Scow. That powered-up main and asym kite strapped onto a wide, flat surfboard of a hull with twin boards and tiny twin rudders make for a sleek, fast design dating back to 1923, but regularly modernized by the Class and built meticulously by Melges.

The National Class E Scow Association is the gold standard of a class association, with a rock-solid foundation of members who care deeply and volunteer hundreds of hours each year.

And there’s nothing quite so special about the E Scow as those who sail it. E Scow sailors are a hard-hiking group of families and friends who have been doing this for generations. Camaraderie, sportsmanship, and volunteerism take on a whole new meaning in this fleet. When you represent your yacht club, your lake, and your family name, there’s no burning bridges. This community is accountable to one another in a way rarely seen in sailing.

15 youth teams are in the lineup this weekend too, some stepping onto the Nationals stage as skippers for the first time and all part of what comes next.

All that to say… this weekend is going to be special.

Here's your 2026 MCSA National Championship trophy winners. We want to celebrate all our skippers and crew too. The event was a great success - 3 wonderful days of sun and wind. It really couldn't have been much better! We especially want to thank the Crystal Lake Yacht Club and it's team of awesome volunteers. You made it a Nationals to remember. Thank you!
