Congrats to everyone that tested up last night! You guys all did a great job and made everyone at ILKK proud. A big thanks to Mr. Idol and Mr. Gregan for being on our board. Also, thanks to our ILKK Family who stayed to support those testing as well as those that got on the mats and helped out. This was a big day for these students as well as our school as a whole.

The boys that went to green belt started with us as kiddos nearly 4 years ago and have become our two youngest green belts to date. Watching them grow and learn Kenpo preparing to become the next generation has been amazing.

Mr. K., who went to 1st Brown last night, came to us from Mr. Wedlake after a geographically induced break from "in-class" Kenpo training. He started back up in person with us as a 2nd Brown a couple years ago. He stepped back into art and didn't miss a beat as he refreshed his previous training and learned his new on his way to first brown.

And then there is C.J. Mr. Allison has officially become the first person in ILKK history to start at white belt in our school and advance to the rank of 3rd Brown earning the right to wear the black uniform. He is a humble, impressive, true Martial Artist.

Kudos to all of these gentlemen and their much appreciated efforts towards this strong test. As we are closing in on our 4 year anniversary as a school, it is incredibly rewarding to see the growth as a group as we strengthen our ranks from white belt towards black.
