✨ “She just started latching perfectly.” ✨

After Iris’s second adjustment, that’s the message we received from her mom, Angelina. 💛

When Iris first came in, breastfeeding had been a challenge. After a thorough assessment, we found areas of tension and restricted movement that could have been affecting how comfortably she moved during feeding. Using gentle, age-appropriate chiropractic care, we worked to improve her comfort and mobility.

Every baby is different, and breastfeeding challenges can have many contributing factors. One tool parents can use to assist them in figuring out if their baby would benefit from chiropractic care is the acronym J.E.T. ✈️

J – Jaw deviation while yawning
E – One eye appears bigger than the other
T – Tilting or twisting, with a preference for one side or position

Other signs that may be worth having your baby assessed include:
• Difficulty latching, or clicking while nursing
• Tongue tie history or having a current one present
• Difficulty feeding efficiently and comfortably
• Soft or flat head spots
• Issues transitioning to tummy time
• Digestive issues (constipation or diarrhea)
• Significant body tension
• Skipping mile stones (e.g. crawling)

If you notice any of these signs, it may be worth having your baby assessed to help identify the underlying cause.

For over a year, Reggie has put in the work with Coach Mac in performance training. When a nagging shoulder injury threatened to slow him down just months before the biggest meet of the year, he didn’t quit and instead he trusted the process. Over the last three months, he worked alongside Dr. Amanda and Dr. Chloe, following a plan that kept him progressing, recovering, and preparing for this exact moment.
Championships aren’t won on race day.
They’re earned in the early mornings, the hard training sessions, the rehab no one sees, and the decision to keep showing up when it would’ve been easier not to.
At Valor, we believe athletes become great when coaches, rehab professionals, and athletes all move in the same direction. One team. One plan. One goal.
Reggie, we’re incredibly proud of the grit, discipline, and resilience you’ve shown. This wasn’t luck, it was earned.
