This is World Cup week! Campers are competing for the privilege of raising up the Big Oak trophy to be crowned champions for another year.

A sweet ending to a fantastic week of camp

One of the cool things about Big Oak Day Camp is the weekly teen travel trips. On Wednesday, our teens paddled their way to fun and excitement Driftwood Water Adventures. You can imagine how proud we were when the Driftwood Managment went out of their way to compliment our campers for their behavior and cooperation. We felt like proud parents! Our Fireballs and Galaxy teen groups are awesome!

What a fantastic and a great week. Campers finish their stem project that challenge their communication, collaboration, and design. They also had fun when Little Buds came over for an activity in the afternoon. On a hot day like today, the waterslide felt like the best place to hang with friends.

Through hands-on STEM challenges and team games, campers practiced sharing ideas, working through challenges together, and building trust along the way. Watching creativity and connection grow is one of our favorite parts of camp. Of course, beautiful weather helps too!
