Last chance to guarantee yourself a Finisher’s Medallion at the Endless Mountains Grand Depart!

We have to put in our order for these custom wooden medallions and need to get a final count. Anyone registered for the Grand Depart as of today will be included in the order. You can still register after today, but there may not be a medallion waiting for you at the finish line. Registration is linked in our bio

The Endless Mountains Grand Depart is a challenging but rewarding tour of the Endless Mountains Heritage Region. There are three routes to choose from to match your appetite for adventure: 110, 250, and 430 miles. The mass start will roll out of Towanda on 9/12 at 7AM. One month until the Endless Mountains Grand Depart! Riders complete on of our routes will receive Finisher’s Medallions, but only if you are registered for the event with Follow My Challenge USA by 8/15. You can still register after 8/15, but we won’t be able to guarantee a Finisher’s Medallion for you.

The deadline to rent a GPS tracker with Follow My Challenge is 8/30. If you have your own tracker, you can register up until 9/11.

The Rider Packet and Race Manual for the 2026 Endless Mountains Grand Depart is here, and it’s packed with loads of information about the routes, resupply, official rules of bikepack racing, and more. If you have a question or need resources for planning your ride, you oughta be able to find it in the Rider Packet.

We are just 2 months away from the Endless Mountains Grand Depart! Have you signed up for this fun adventure?

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sending out the new, finalized routes and rider packets with all the information you need to have a successful time in the Endless Mountains. Registered riders will be the first people to receive the rider packets, so sign up in the next few days to stay informed.

Registering for tracking is easy with Follow My Challenge USA. If you have your own tracker, registration is $30. You can also rent a tracker when registering for $75.

New FKT on the Endless Mountains 115! Mike Harding rode our shortest route in 7h 38m 01s. Mike came to Towanda 10 days ago to check out the new route, and he put down a great time! 

“I love your routes. They’re challenging but not egregious in a ‘gotcha’ way like some organizers. It was nice to revisit roads from the Grand Depart last year but also get to see some new sections after Canton. A+ routing. Super rideable.

I’m trying to faff less on the long rides that I’m actually trying to drill these days. 21 minutes isn’t bad but def could’ve made one stop a few minutes shorter. Broke another bottle on downhill washboards haha, it’s a theme for me here at this point. Notice the Gatorade in the bike photo.”

Our very own Donna, aka Donna Iannone, who came up with the grand idea of the Endless Mountains bikepacking loop, is heading off for an epic adventure this summer! Last week, she held a send-off ride and book reading with some of the local kids in Dushore at the Sullivan County Library.

Starting tomorrow morning, Donna will be riding her bike from Anacortes, Washington, to Fargo, North Dakota! That’s 2,000 miles over 38 days. 

Along the way, she’ll be fundraising for the Sullivan County Library in Dushore. Donations made in support of Donna will be earmarked to enhance the library’s collection and materials. Donna hopes to visit libraries across the northwestern states, bringing greetings from Sullivan County and seeing what the local libraries have to offer. Now’s the perfect time to ride your bike in the Endless Mountains! The lush, green hills are perfect for anyone looking for beautiful views or a retreat into nature. As route designer David Landis says, our “Pennsylvania rainforest” is waiting for you to come explore it.

FKT Alert! The updated Endless Mountains 115 has a new Fastest Known Time. Local rider Jeremy Regan went out earlier this week and established the FKT of the new route at 9h 22m 24s.

“That climb up Leroy Mountain at mile 84 put me to my max ability. First time I’ve climbed that one and it’s definitely one of the two hardest climbs in Bradford county. Carnwright is probably 3rd that you had around mile 55. People have a mark to aim for now come September!”
