🏈🍎Fall-Themed Lessons Are Underway!🐴🍂
The past two weeks have been full of fun with our Football and Apple Orchard themed assisted services lessons!
🏈 During Football Week, our riders practiced their riding skills before putting them to the test in our Touchdown Challenge!
🍎 This past week, we headed to the “Apple Orchard,” where riders worked on stopping, backing, steering, balance, and completing their own fall-themed riding challenges!
One of our favorite parts of assisted services is that even when our riders share the same theme, their lessons don’t have to look the same.❤️
Each activity can be adapted to the individual rider’s abilities and goals. One rider may be working on remembering a riding pattern and completing it independently, while another may be working on maintaining attention, remembering their reins, using riding cues, counting,following one direction at a time, or posting and two pointing.
Same theme. Same fun. Different goals for every rider.🐴
We are so proud of the progress our riders continue to make each week, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of our fall themes bring! 🍂🎃
