Our philosophy is large class sizes lead to a lack of personal attention and inadequate instruction; this then leads to divers who are not properly trained, which can be dangerous. Georgia Dive Academy ALWAYS provides either private or semi private classes where you get the personal attention that you deserve. If we don't feel you are comfortable enough with your skills to dive safely, we keep working with you until you are ready! If that means we need to let you have an extra day of class, then that is exactly what we do. There is no rush when it comes to making sure you are properly prepared. Georgia Dive Academy is strictly an instruction based school and that is our sole focus. We don't try to upsell you on equipment, because we are not a retail shop; we don't sell gear! We focus solely on delivering the best and safest instruction without any pressure to buy equipment. We do however have relationships with other retail shops to provide our students with the very best prices on any rental equipment you will need for your classes. Interested in buying your own gear? We are also happy to help counsel you as to what gear is best for your needs while providing you with significant discounts on most equipment from any of the retail shops we work with who are happy to provide special pricing to our students. Another advantage of choosing Georgia Dive Academy is our flexible schedule. While most schools have their courses scheduled in advance, we take the opposite approach: What time works best for you? Evenings? Weekends? Weekdays? We schedule classes around you! While most dive shops charge extra for custom scheduling, we are happy to do it at no extra charge.
