If your child is a returning 9th- 12th grade NHSDA member, does well in school, and would like to be involved in events that help our community, Miss Bri and Miss Chrissy will be holding an introductory meeting on Saturday, September 19th at 12:00 pm to go over how everything works, and learn how it will continue to benefit your child as they graduate from High School. This program requires you to be available for a monthly Saturday meeting/event (all dates have already been added to our studio calendar) throughout the dance season (up to 2 absences allowed, if necessary).

The dance she looking forward to performing the most this season is: her Jazz Group "Fuego". A KDC dancer she admires is: Emily Kumpula. When asked why she likes to dance, Vivienne answered: "because it makes me happy and it makes me feel like it's what I'm meant to do”. The entire staff and KDC dance family would like to wish Miss Ava a very happy birthday today! 🎂🎈🎁🎉💜💙 Miss Ava is an essential part of our KDC Staff, and a well loved teacher by her students. She teaches a variety of styles at KDC including Recreational Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. We hope you have the best day ever Miss Ava!

All students are required to wear the appropriate dress code and required dance shoes for each class they attend at KDC. Having a studio dress code is essential to helping our dancers to focus in class, and allows the teachers to see the dancer's lines more clearly. We've selected specific shoes for each style of dance that are supportive, look nice in performances, make the correct sounds/bend the proper way, and match with our costumes. The fees for our KDC Competition Team jackets and jerseys will be due on Tuesday, September 15th. This is required for all new members. Returning team members who have grown out of their past jackets/jerseys, new KDC Staff, and our competition team moms also have the option of purchasing these! 💜💙
