Christianity also affects everyday decisions—including how we use, nourish, rest, and care for our bodies. The Bible does not give Christians a modern meal plan, calorie target, or three-day workout split. Instead, Scripture gives us principles concerning stewardship, self-control, discipline, work, moderation, and honoring God with our bodies. Science can help us determine calories, protein, exercise volume, and other measurable variables. Scripture determines the greater question: Why should we care?
That distinction is important.

But Christians have another question worth asking: What does wisdom look like in the way I care for my body? Using God’s wisdom for fitness does not mean expecting the Bible to provide a workout split or calorie target. It means allowing biblical principles such as wisdom, stewardship, discipline, patience, moderation, and self-control to influence the decisions that eventually determine our health behaviors and results.
Think about it mathematically:
Wisdom → Better Decisions → Better Behaviors → Repeated Actions → Outcomes
We cannot control every health outcome. Genetics, disease, injuries, environment, aging, and circumstances matter.
