The 2nd Annual Spottswood Poles Memorial Tournament is officially in the books!

Our Stonewall Tigers 12U baseball team finished the weekend 3-1, bringing home a second-place finish. Congratulations to our players and coaches on a great weekend of baseball!

A big thank you to Stephen Scott of SDS Soul Food and Kona Ice of Martinsburg for being on site and taking care of our players and families throughout the weekend.

Thank you to Mrs. Stacy Ritter for printing our tournament shirts and to Scott Snapp for coordinating our umpires and making sure we had crews in place all weekend.

Lastly, a huge thank you to our 12U Tigers families. You stepped up, pitched in and helped us put on a great tournament from start to finish. These weekends take a lot of people working behind the scenes, and we simply could not have done it without you.

🍂⚾ 2nd Annual Spottswood Poles Memorial Tournament ⚾🍂

We’re ready for a full weekend of baseball at Stonewall Park!

Four 12U teams will take the field September 19th–20th as the Stonewall Tigers welcome the Virginia Elite Spartans, Loudoun South Senators and The St. James for the 2nd Annual Spottswood Poles Memorial Tournament.

And come hungry! SDS Soul Food LLC will be on site serving up some great food throughout the tournament!

A HUGE thank you to Jason DeBlasio, owner of Military Metal Art, and his entire team for an absolutely incredible donation to Stonewall Ball Club! 🇺🇸🧡🖤

Jason has donated a 13" x 20" American Warrior Spartan Helmet for our January 9th silent and live auction dinner party, and this thing is AWESOME.

The piece combines the iconic Spartan helmet with the American flag and is a perfect example of the incredible work Military Metal Art produces. If you’ve never checked them out, you need to. Their collection of handcrafted metal artwork includes military, patriotic, first responder and custom designs, and some of the pieces are unbelievable.

Jason is also a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who served for 20 years, completed 13 deployments and logged more than 5,000 flight hours. Beyond his military service and building an incredible veteran owned business, he has continued giving back and supporting others.

Jason, thank you for your generosity, your service to our country and for supporting Stonewall Ball Club. We’re incredibly proud to have Military Metal Art represented on January 9th! 🇺🇸🧡🖤

Fairmont has once again generously donated a luxury hotel stay for our January 9th silent and live auction dinner party!

Located between Georgetown and Dupont Circle, the Fairmont is one of Washington, D.C.’s premier luxury hotels, featuring beautiful accommodations, an indoor pool, great dining and an incredible location for a weekend in the city.

Getting support once is awesome. Having an organization come back and support our kids two years in a row means even more.

SDS Soul Food will be at Stonewall Park on Saturday and Sunday, September 19–20, serving up traditional ball park fare and some soul foul throughout the weekend.

Our 12U Tigers went 1-1 today before Mother Nature cut the day short with a downpour.

The big highlight belonged to Caleb Benner, who is officially on the board for the season after launching his first home run of the year! 💣⚾

Congrats, Caleb! Way to get No. 1 out of the way!
