These two made me smile after Master Cycle tonight.
Bryan came to us after training at other gyms around Wilmington. He works a full time job and has a family yet he st ill finds the time to train at least 4 times per week, and every round he proves you can train with intensity without putting your training partner at unnecessary risk.
Chase walked into the academy in January 2025 as a 15-year-old kid who had absolutely no grappling experience. Tonight, just a few months after graduating Gracie Combatives and joining Master Cycle, he's giving experienced students real problems on the mat. Watching that transformation has been incredibly rewarding.
What these two have in common has nothing to do with athletic ability. They both roll hard, challenge each other, and always put their training partner's safety ahead of their own ego.
That's the culture we want at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Wilmington.Train hard. Help each other improve. Make sure everyone goes home healthy enough to come back tomorrow.
