Our Recreational Program is a place for dancers to learn, move, build confidence, make friends and discover what they love — whether it’s their very first dance class or they’re coming back for another year.

Choreography week: the in-between moments. 💙💛

There are the counts. The corrections. The “one more time” that is definitely not going to be just one more time. 😂

There are hours spent learning new choreography, figuring out formations, trying something again, and slowly watching a brand-new dance start to come to life.

But then there are the moments in between.

The water breaks that turn into a group outing. The quick trips to rehydrate and recharge. The conversations in the hallway. The laughs between rehearsals. The friendships that somehow grow just as much outside the studio as they do inside it.

Right now, EDC is right in the middle of choreography season — and while we can't show you everything they're working on just yet 👀, we can show you a little bit of what happens along the way.

Because some of the best parts of a dance season never actually make it onto the stage. 💙

☀️ That’s a wrap on an unforgettable Summer 2026 Camp Season!

From big smiles and new friendships to creative moments and nonstop fun, this summer was filled with memories we’ll cherish forever. A huge thank you to all of our dancers, families, and team members who made this season so special.

✨ We’re already counting down until we get to do it all again next summer!

There’s something pretty special about a studio that still feels like home. 💙💛

Today, our dancers had the opportunity to step into the studio with a guest choreographer for a special master class — learning, being challenged, and soaking up every bit of a different perspective and style.

And one of our favorite parts of summer at EDC? Welcoming our alumni back home. 🥹

We love seeing former EDC dancers walk back through these doors to take class, train alongside the next generation, reconnect with old friends and teachers, and continue doing what brought them together in the first place.

Because the training may start here, but the relationships built inside these walls have a way of lasting long after the seasons end.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like today — and even more grateful for a dance family that keeps finding its way back home.

💙 Birthday plans: DANCE. 💛

When you're asked where you want to go for your birthday and you can choose anywhere… apparently the answer is Evolution. 🥹

One of our littlest dancers, Saylor, celebrated her birthday today, and instead of heading out for a special birthday dinner, she asked to come to a pop-up class at the studio.

And judging by this picture, we'd say she was pretty happy with her decision. 😂🩰🎂

There is something so special about watching dance become more than an activity. It's the friends who scoop you up (literally 😂), the teachers who cheer you on, the place you can't wait to get back to, and the people you want around you on the days that matter most.

What a way to kick off a new season at Evolution! ✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Open House today — our returning dancers who came back to see us, the new faces who walked through our doors for the first time, and all of the families who spent part of their Friday with us.

There was dancing. There were games. There were prizes. There were sweet treats. There were lots of hugs, laughs, and familiar faces… and plenty of brand-new ones, too. 💙

But our favorite part was watching dancers of all ages jump in, try something new, make new friends, and get a little taste of what makes EDC such a special place.

Today made us even more excited for the year ahead. We cannot wait to get everyone back in the studio and see what this season brings!
