Dale brings an incredible amount of experience to our bowling community:
🎳 47 years of bowling experience
🏆 Competed in local and national leagues and tournaments
💯 37 perfect 300 games
🔥 7 career 800 series, with a personal best of 842
⚡ Storm Pro Shop Staff Member for 11 years
🛠️ Over 20 years of pro shop experience, including owning his own pro shop for the past 7 years.

Dale recently moved to the area and is excited to serve bowlers of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a new bowling ball, equipment advice, drilling, fitting, or just want to talk bowling, be sure to stop by and say hello!

Dale’s in-season Pro Shop Hours:

We’re excited to introduce Peter Balderas, who will be running the Pro Shop at Ten Pin Alley!

Peter started bowling at just 7 years old and has been bowling in the Wilmington area since 2015. His passion for the sport and desire to help others led him to join our Pro Shop. Peter looks forward to sharing his knowledge, helping bowlers better understand their equipment, and supporting our local bowling community.

Peter will be offering plugging and resurfacing services, along with helping with bowling ball sales and accessories, with plans to eventually offer drilling services.

🎳 Peter’s Pro Shop Hours:
Tuesday–Thursday: 6 PM–10 PM
Friday: 10-6PM
Saturday: 10-2 PM

We’re also excited to welcome Dale to the Pro Shop team! Dale will primarily be covering daytime hours, giving our bowlers even more opportunities to stop by for assistance. He will be drilling balls along with other services. More information about Dale and his schedule will be coming soon!

After 9 years here in Wilmington, Jimmy "JT" Thompson is officially hanging up the drill press and retiring from the pro shop.

Over the years, JT has drilled thousands of bowling balls, helped bowlers of every skill level improve their game, and always took the time to answer questions, offer advice, or simply share a laugh. Whether you were buying your very first ball or chasing another 300 game, JT treated everyone with the same patience, respect, and genuine care.

Many know JT as a PBA title holder, but those of us who've had the privilege of knowing him know that's only a small part of who he is. His knowledge of the game is incredible, but it's his kindness, humility, and willingness to help others that people will remember most.

The pro shop won't be the same without you, and neither will Ten Pin Alley. Thank you for everything you've done for our bowling community over the past nine years. You've made a lasting impact on so many people, and we're all better bowlers—and better friends—because of you.

Congratulations on your retirement, JT. We wish you nothing but happiness, good health, and plenty of strikes in whatever comes next.
